Country Club Christian Church is a caring and supportive community of faith, offering encouragement and assistance in many ways as well as providing opportunities for members of our congregation to volunteer their time and talents in supportive roles. Congregational Care ministers to our membership and the community in the following ways:
AA and Al-Anon Groups for those dealing with alcohol related difficulties. See Recovery Support Groups for more information.
Care Notes Resource pamphlets which offer helpful information and spiritual encouragement regarding many of life’s crises. Available in the display area across from the main office and in the Congregational Care office at no cost.
Service of Prayer for Healing and Wholeness A monthly worship service providing a peaceful time of song, scripture and prayer. This service offers an opportunity for those in attendance to share prayerful concerns as well as blessings. The service is held on the first Tuesday of most months at 7:30 p.m. in Combs Chapel.
Funerals and Memorials Country Club Christian Church offers support and assistance to individuals and families who have lost a loved one. Please call 816-333-4917 for more information or to speak with a minister. Columbarium and Rose Garden - A columbarium and rose garden outside the George Hamilton Combs Chapel are available for the interment of cremains. Please call 816-333-4917 for more information.
Men’s Calling Ministry A group of men who call on other men who are shut-in or are experiencing one of life’s difficulties.
Prayer Ministry A group of volunteers meeting to pray over requests received by prayer cards, email or phone. Fridays at 10:30 a.m. in Rm. 201
Shut-in Communion Offering communion services to elderly individuals confined to their homes or care centers.
Seasonal Gifts A program to brighten the lives of shut-ins around the holidays.
Stephen Ministry A group of specially trained lay ministers who offer care and support to church members experiencing challenging life experiences. Click Here for more information.
Transportation Ministry Volunteers who drive our church van to pick up many members who no longer have their own transportation.
