Help Plant 1,000 Flowers on Independence Avenue
Join our neighbors in Northeast Kansas City for some major flower planting on Independence Avenue on Sat., May 18, from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Members of Country Club Christian Church will meet with other volunteers to plant 1,000 flowers on Independence Avenue through a Northeast KC Chamber of Commerce project. Kids age 6 and above are welcome. Bring your trowel and gloves and meet at the Chapel Parking lot at 8:30 a.m.to carpool. Or join us at 9:00 a.m. at Independence Avenue and Prospect. Rose Garden Memorial Bricks Now Available
Honor your loved ones with an engraved memorial brick in the Rose Garden pathway. In addition to inurnment in the Columbarium or the scattering of ashes in the Rose Garden, engraved memorial bricks are available to past and present members and their immediate families. Existing bricks in the Rose Garden pathway will be used and can be purchased for an introductory price of $250 each through Dec. 31, 2012. Beginning Jan. 1, 2013 the price will increase to $350.
