Sunday, June 9 was a beautiful day for the “Community Block Party” held in Centennial Park. Plenty of activities for all ages created the perfect opportunity to hang out, enjoy the park and each other. Three food trucks satisfied hungry tummies, carnival games with prizes kept kids entertained and the tower of power got all ages up and over to see if they could ring the bell! In the background, live music played with the sounds of jazz and then with pop music by Carswell and Hope. Families gathered to decorate canvas bags and be adorned with glitter tattoos on arms and faces! Groups of friends squeezed into the photo booth to capture the memories for years to come! This is exactly what the Centennial Committee and church leadership imagined for this space! We are looking forward to the Summer Pop-Up Series event being held each Wednesday evening in Centennial Park, find out more here!
